EMEPRONIUM BROMIDE IN URINARY INCONTINENCE

J. C. BROCKLEHURST, P. ARMITAGE and A. J. JOUHAR

University of Manchester

The response of transient and established incontinence in elderly females to treatment with emepronium bromide in a dose of 150 mg every six hours has been studied in a controlled trial.

The drug was shown to exert a significant effect. The magnitude of the reduction in incontinence was small and it is suggested that treatment for a longer time may increase this response. No untoward effects of treatment were observed.
