ATHEROMATOUS DISEASE OF THE VESSELS SUPPLYING THE GUT*

An account is given of the signs, symptoms and incidence of severe atheroma of the visceral arteries as seen in routine admissions of a Geriatric Department. Twelve of these were of the acute type and were fatal, one presented with chronic abdominal angina and survived.
