MULTIDISCIPLINARY MEETINGS WITH RELATIVES OF ELDERLY HOSPITAL PATIENTS IN CONTINUING-CARE WARDS

A series of multidisciplinary meetings with the relatives of elderly patients in continuing-care wards is described. The enthusiasm engendered and the amount of useful information obtained left no doubt that the time was well spent. Meetings of this type are considered to be a valuable instrument for highlighting matters relevant to quality of care.
