ERRATA

The Editor regrets that in the May 1979 issue of Age and Ageing (Vol. 8, p. 127) a review of a book entitled Aging and Dementia was incorrectly ascribed to Dr Colin Godber, who indicates that the opinions in it were not his. This particular review was from the pen of Dr J. A. Whitehead. The Editor offers both gentlemen his apologies. In fact, two volumes bearing the same title have been received at different times from two separate publishers.

In the August 1979 issue (Vol. 8, pp. 177–82), the paper ‘Vitamin C, High Density Lipoproteins and Heart Disease in Elderly Subjects’ was by C. J. Bates, M. L. Burr and A. S. St Leger. The second author's initials were wrongly supplied to the journal as M. K.
